Hello,
I have recently received my new HP Omen 15 and I am already running into issues with the touchpad: During the Windows 10 installation, the touchpad suddenly stopped working. Even deactivating and activating it again with fn + f11 did not help. It only started to work again after restarting the laptop.
After the Windows installation finished I started browsing on the Internet but the scrolling on the touchpad did not work. And about 10 minutes the touchpad again completely stopped working, so I had to restart the laptop a second time. After the second restart the scrolling on the touchpad worked for the first time. Since then (1 day ago) there haven't been any issues so far. But I am concerned that these issues are evidence of technical problems with the touchpad that may cause recurring problems.
Is it normal that the touchpad did not behave correctly the first times I started the laptop? Or should I consider sending it in for a repair?

I suggest that you follow steps to uninstall and reinstall touchpad drivers:
1. Press Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
2. Click to expand Mice and other pointing devices.
3. Right-click the touchpad and click uninstall.
4. Restart your device and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
