Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Ah, the classic AZERTY keyboard quirks! On an AZERTY keyboard, the asterisk (*) is usually located at the top left of the 8 key. However, unlike QWERTY keyboards, you typically need to use the Shift key to access it.
Solution:
To type * on an AZERTY keyboard, try:
- Shift + 8 → This is the most common way I know of.
- If that doesn’t work, check if your keyboard layout is set correctly in Windows:
- Go to Settings → Time & Language → Language & Region.
- Ensure the correct keyboard layout (e.g., French (Belgium) AZERTY or French (France) AZERTY) is selected.
If you still have trouble, please try Alt + 42 on the numeric keypad (if available) as an alternative.
Let me know if you need further troubleshooting! 😊
Kind Regards,
NonSequitur777
