Hello
I have a problem with my laptop. Any external drive that I connect to the only USB 3.0 port that the laptop has, works super slow. For example, I have a 480GB SSD that connected to the USB 3.0 port gives me a read speed of 43.57 MB/s and a write speed of 38.34 MB/s.
However, if I connect the same SSD drive to the only USB 2.0 port (which should be slower) I get read speeds of 395.13 MB/s and write speeds of 331.26 MB/s
This is 10 times faster on the USB 2.0 port than on the 3.0... and this happens with mechanical drives, SSDs or pendrives.
Could someone tell me why please?
Thanks in advance
