Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i want to ask about USB Type C on Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1076ax. Does the USB type C support external monitor display? Because i want to use external monitor without using HDMI port. If the answer is no, can you explain what the function that USB type C have on this product?

See chapters 1 and 2 of the service manual for your notebook's USB-C port capabilities.

Chapter 1, page 3:

 

USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port (supports data transfer only)

 

Chapter 2, page 6:

 

USB Type-C port: Connects a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provides data transfer.

 

In order to support an external display, the USB-C port also has to be a Thunderbolt port.
