OMEN DC1036ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have been looking for a while, and have not been able to find a compatible usb-c dock to run both monitors, keyboard and mouse that charges the laptop. I have been getting info about it, and by the looks of it, the laptop is compatible with usb-c charging. My original dc adapter is 200w, not sure if a docking with less wattage would work.

I have been looking in the site but apparently home products were not "supported".  What are the options out there to take advantage of this feature?

Thanks!

Wait for few more months, I read the news which says around the end of this year, vendors can have USB-C charger up to 240W. I did test 100W USB-C dock namely USB-C Gen 5 dock and the dock only chargers my Omen (alsom200W) when it does nothing or off.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

                https://www.displaylink.com/products/universal-docking-stations

For example

               https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751

I bought a cheap dock (for A$70) on eBay and it works on my HP Omen 15-dc* machine.

Thanks! I guess I will have to wait, because I would not be charging it and I the monitor wont be getting any more than 60hz from any of these docks.

Talking about refresh rate, please remember: refresh rate goes up resolution will go down and vice versa.
