I tested with USB-C Gen 5 which gives 100W power out and my

 

  • HP Omen 15-dc0071tx   - only charge when idle or off
  • HP Envy x360 15-ee0047nr - true single cable option
  • HP Eliitebook G5 - true single cable option - I'm using them now
  • Dell 2-in-2 13-7000 series - true single cable option

I did post my tests on IC board.

Ya, we don't always see everything posted everywhere, must have been a while back.

 

Is this the dock you're talking about? Its not listed in the compatible products page but Im guessing will work?

Bad news guys, the test is KO...

 

I leave my laptop with 84% of battery in idle. I came back 1h after and it was at 60% of battery...

 

Is it possible to have an answer from insiders ?

did you try it with the PC powered OFF also?

If so, it might be it wants an HP USB charger like the dock Banhien uses.

I may not hear from anyone about it next week, all I can do is wait.
