I am disappointed by the performance of my 24gb of ram and i want to overclock it, but i find that most useful bios settings are locked and inaccessible. Any fixes?

Hello!

Locked BIOS settings preventing RAM overclocking are common due to manufacturer restrictions for stability and warranty. Potential fixes include checking for BIOS updates and hidden "Advanced Modes" in the BIOS interface. Researching your specific motherboard online might reveal user-found unlocking methods, but BIOS modding is a risky option. Software overclocking for RAM is generally limited. For reliable overclocking, especially if important, upgrading to a motherboard designed for it with comprehensive BIOS settings is often the best solution. Always proceed cautiously and understand the risks involved in overclocking.
