Hello everyone! I recently got a new hp victus i7 laptop. I wanted to clean install Windows 11 because of an issue with its Windows 11 OS. But I am unable to boot from the USB drive. I have tried activating booting from the USB option in BIOS to no avail. I have watched videos and read about how to resolve this issue to no avail.
I'm really stressed out because I am unable to use Microsoft Office because of the problem with the Windows OS since it prevents me from completely installing it with the error code (0xc0000005). My work requires that I have Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat installed on the PC. Installing Windows 11 from the booted windows or resetting the PC and Fully Clean PC does not take the problem away.
I would like to know if there is a special way of installing Windows 11 from a bootable USB installation drive. for this particular laptop. I appreciate any information you can provide me with.
This laptop has the following specifications:
System Model: Victus by HP Laptop 16-d1xx
x64-based pc
BIOS MODE: UEFI

Hi:
All HP PC's made during the last dozen years or so that have a UEFI BIOS boot from USB installation flash drives like this:
Have the flash drive plugged into the PC's USB port.
Turn on or restart the PC.
Immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.
Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that, select the USB flash drive with Windows on it and press the Enter key.
The PC should boot from the flash drive.
I believe that notebook model series has Intel 12th generation core processors.
Since the PC has an Intel 11th generation core or newer processor, you have to load the Intel storage controller drivers when you are at the screen where you install Windows on the drive.
I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers that Windows needs to find the drive.
The attached file is good for both W10 & W11.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W10/W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next, and W11 should install.
After W11 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from the notebook's support page.

Thank you, Paul, for the feedback. The laptop has 12th-generation processors.
I have attached a picture of the problem I always encountered at the boot device interface.
I'll try out your suggestion and let you know the outcome. The Please Select Boot Device interface after I have inserted bootable USB drive with windows installation

You're very welcome.
Instead of using the Micrsoft media creation tool to create the USB flash drive, download the ISO file instead (3rd option).
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
Use the free Rufus utility to transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive so that it is bootable.
Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
Set Rufus up exactly as you see it in the illustration for Windows installations.
I have a couple of PC's where the USB flash drive does not show up in the F9 boot options menu and using the Rufus utility has worked for me in the past.
Maybe because it loads some EFI files as part of the process.
If that doesn't work either, try disabling secure boot, but make sure you boot from the EFI USB flash drive, not the legacy one if you have the option to boot from legacy devices with secure boot disabled.
