Yes you can BUT (big but)

Warning : This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.

Regards.

Hi,

The statement by @banhien is not correct. The RAM and Drives in the OMEN notebooks are considered"Customer Self-Repair parts"

So, you can upgrade the RAM and HDD without any problem and without any effect on the warranty.

Your notebook will suppport 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM (2x16GB) max

At the moment you have one 8GB module and one empty slot.

Example of RAM

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-omen-15-dc1036tx#MEMORYFilters

You can upgrade the M2 PCIe NVMe SSD to a larger capacity SSD of your preferred brand. Such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus which is considered the best. There is no limit to capacity.

You could also add a 2.5" Hard Drive or SSD, however you will need to purchase

Hard drive cable connector    part number 929450-001

Hard drive brackets                part number 929561-001

which you can find with an online search.

Hope it helps,

David
