I have a 17-cb1xxx HP and plan to upgrade its Wi-Fi from 6 to 7 with 6GHz. Has anybody done the same thing before?
It has an intel i7-10750H cpu.
For instance, replacing the old one with this:

You're very welcome,
If your notebook has the Intel AX201 Wi-Fi adapter, then the card you want to buy would be the right one to experiment with.
It has the right Intel SPS #/HP part # -- N39883-005.
I just can't guarantee you that it will work.

Please see this discussion.
Your notebook's existing Wi-Fi adapter cannot be a RTL8821CE because those only come with one Wi-Fi antenna wire and the Intel card would need two.
Unfortunately, no one can tell you if it will work or not, but that would be the right Intel SPS # to try--N39883-005 (the non-vPro model).

Thanks a lot for providing the discussion.
I am a bit confused after reading that discussion. The Wi-Fi card on my HP Omen 17 laptop is different, it is Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 Mhz. Which wifi adaptor do you recommend to test for replacement?
Would be very grateful if you could send me a link from Amazon.
