You're very welcome.
HP consumer class notebooks do not support Intel vPro technology.
Only high-end business class PC's support Intel vPro technology.
I found this model which should also work:
Intel BE200 M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 non-vPro WW WLAN module HP part # N39883-005.

No Wi-Fi 7 adapters were offered in the model series, but I don't know of any reason why a Wi-Fi 7 card wouldn't work unless there is some kind of BIOS restriction that I am not aware of.
I cannot find any posts where anyone tried to upgrade the Wi-Fi card in that model series to a Wi-Fi 7 card.
Since your PC has an Intel 12th gen core processor according to the model series' specs, you can experiment with this model Wi-Fi adapter.
Intel BE200 M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 non-vPro WW WLAN module HP part # N39883-001.
Be very careful removing and reattaching the thin and delicate antenna wires.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Here's a service video for an Omen 17 notebook.
I don't know if it is for the 17-ck model series, but you can watch the section for how HP recommends you remove and replace the WLAN card.

Thank you for your response. I'm very grateful. What about the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230079/intel-wifi-7-be201/specifications.html as that supports intel vpro

Thanks again for the link. I have found this which is no vpro so hopefully it'll work.

You're very welcome.
No, that one won't work because it is a CNVI card, and would only work as a replacement for a BE201 that the notebook came with from the factory.
You can't upgrade from a AX211 CNVI card to an Intel BE200 CNVI card.
Intel cards that end in a '1' are CNVI.

I did not know that lol. I'm very grateful for that vital information. So CNVi BE201 2230 WiFi 7 module wont work in my laptop that has AX211 that's CNVi? Wow that's confusing.
01-01-2025 08:11 PM
That's correct.
This link from Intel explains what CNVI cards are.

Yes looks like my laptop has M.2: CNVio2 AX211. I still don't understand why I can upgrade to M.2: CNVio2 BE201 😕

I only want to help you with finding the right card to work.
If you want to install the BE201 against my recommendation please feel free to do so.
But if it doesn't work, I can bear no responsibility for that.
I can't even guarantee you that the BE200 will work.
I have never come across any posts where someone successfully upgraded one CNVI card to a different one, or where someone successfully installed a CNVI card in a notebook that did not come with one.
