Hello,

I have HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec0xxx with Ryzen 5 3550H with a multi GPU there are Vega 8 Graphics and GTX 1050 and running on windows 10 home 64 bit. The PROBLEM is I have 8GB RAM but the usable is only 5,9GB.

Can anyone help me how to fix this ?

I guess this is most asked question.. but I just want to know how to fix my usable RAM in my laptop.

Thank you.

You're very welcome.

I would imagine that if you buy another 8 GB memory chip, you will have more memory, but not the full 16 GB.

Hi:

Yes, lately that question has been asked a lot, but unfortunately there is no fix that I am aware of.

HP released this document a while back, which explains the memory shortage...

This seems to only apply to models with AMD processors and chipsets.

Hey, Paul

Thank you for replying my question. But is there any way to get rid of it ? like buying one more 8GB RAM.. does it help tho ?
Or
Should I just bear with it ?

Thank you!
