Hi @flcty,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like Valorant isn't launching properly on your HP Victus 15. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check System Requirements: Ensure your HP Victus 15 meets the minimum system requirements for Valorant. This includes checking the GPU, CPU, and RAM.
- Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can do this through the NVIDIA GeForce Experience if you have an NVIDIA GPU or via AMD's software if you have an AMD GPU.
- Update Windows: Ensure that Windows is fully updated. Sometimes, pending updates can cause issues with game launches.
- Repair Valorant: Go to the Riot Client and use the "Repair" option to fix any potential issues with the game files.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click on the Valorant shortcut and select "Run as Administrator."
- Check for Background Applications: Sometimes, other applications can interfere with Valorant. Try closing unnecessary programs running in the background.
- Check Security Software: Ensure that your antivirus or firewall isn’t blocking Valorant. You might need to add Valorant to the exceptions list.
- Reinstall Valorant: If the above steps don't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling Valorant.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
