Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Community,

I recently purchased an HP Victus 15-fb0050AX (6F9V1PA)  laptop and am trying to understand the full capabilities of its USB Type-C port.

Based on the specifications I've seen, it's described as a: "USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port; 5 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)"

Could someone from HP support or an experienced community member please confirm if this understanding is correct for my specific model? I'd like to verify that this particular USB-C port indeed supports:

  1. USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps data transfer)

  2. USB Power Delivery (for charging the laptop and other devices)

  3. DisplayPort 1.4 (for connecting external monitors)

  4. HP Sleep and Charge (for charging devices while the laptop is asleep/off)

Any clarification or confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Sajjad

Hi, Sajjad:

Chapters 1 & 2 of the service manual confirm that the notebook has the specifications you posted:

Thanks for the manual! I'm looking through chapters 1 and 2, but I'm not seeing the USB-C charging specs. Could you point out the specific page or section?"

You're very welcome.

That specification I do not see.
