Greetings. Some application windows on my laptop are blurry for some reason. This is solved by changing the zoom, but I wouldn't want to change it. Are there any other options? All drivers are updated. For example this window of Steam installation is blurred for meBlurry window of Steam installation

Hi @Imbrix,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Blurry application windows on your HP Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 are often related to display scaling issues or compatibility settings. Here are some solutions you can try to fix blurry windows without having to adjust zoom settings:
1. Adjust Display Scaling Settings
- Change Scaling Settings for Specific Apps:
- Right-click on the shortcut of the application (e.g., Steam) and select Properties.
- Go to the Compatibility tab.
- Click on Change high DPI settings.
- Check the box for Override high DPI scaling behavior and select Application from the dropdown menu.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
2. Adjust System DPI Settings
- Set Custom DPI Settings:
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Under Scale and layout, select a different scaling percentage (e.g., 100%, 125%, 150%) and see if this resolves the blurriness.
- If scaling is already set to 100%, try other settings to see if it improves clarity, then set it back to your preferred scaling if it does.
3. Disable Display Scaling for All Applications
- Apply Global Settings:
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Scroll down to Advanced scaling settings.
- Turn off Let Windows try to fix apps so they’re not blurry.
- Restart your laptop to see if the issue is resolved.
4. Update or Reinstall Graphics Drivers
Check for Graphics Driver Updates:
- Open Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager).
- Expand the Display adapters section.
- Right-click on your graphics adapter (e.g., NVIDIA or AMD) and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Reinstall Graphics Drivers:
- Download the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel).
- Uninstall the existing driver from Device Manager by right-clicking the graphics adapter and selecting Uninstall device.
- Install the new driver from the downloaded file.
Please find the remaining steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
