OMEN by HP - 17-an012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm not sure about others but I've gotten this same issue for a few years now and I have no clue what to do, The w key will start acting funny, freezing up after a character jumps for example, and then it will continue for the rest of the games' runtime, sometimes even after I quit the program. A former post here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06175839 covered the exact same problem I have only the patch provided is for HP OMEN 15 and doesn't seem to work with any other models. Any help would be hugely appreciated

Hello @Matteo_Gilmore

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

(1) Check OMEN advanced settings and uncheck all options at <Disable Keys>

It looks someting like this:
