Hi @Hardik_Airan,

Thanks for the confirming Model number.

Please follow the steps.

Not every Notebook Model has the option to adjust the backlight timings. Most notebooks only have the option to Turn ON and Turn OFF the Back Light

I suggest you check if the settings are available

  • Your BIOS version and screens might vary.
  • Restart the notebook, and then immediately press the F10 repeatedly until the BIOS opens.
  • When the BIOS opens, use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced tab.
  • Navigate to Built-in Device Options, and then press Enter.

The Advanced tab showing Built-in Device Option highlighted

  • In the Built-in Device Options, select Backlit keyboard timeout.
  • Press the spacebar to open the keyboard backlight settings, and then select the timeout setting you to want.
  • NOTE: If you select Never, the backlight remains on which could quickly drain the notebook battery power.

Backlit keyboard timeout options

Note:  If there is not a setting for the backlight timing in the BIOS, this behavior might not be supported on the notebook.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @Hardik_Airan,

Thanks for your reply. The consumer notebooks do not have that option in BIOS. However, you can turn off the backlight key from the Fn keys.
