I have purchased my laptop in Saudi Arabia, then I travelled to Turkey.

The AC Adapter has stopped working within a month of usage in Turkey.

I contacted HP Technical Support in Turkey, but they said that the AC Adapter is not covered under the warranty because its serial number does not match with the laptop's serial number.

I have read the HP Standard Limited Warranty and never found anything explicitly excluding this very situation from the warranty. Even if there was, How is it my fault that I received an AC Adapter that does not belong to the laptop?

I was not aware that I would receive an AC Adapter that does not belong to the laptop, otherwise I would have avoided such situation in the first place. The AC Adapter is an original HP product, and it is the one that came with the laptop when I purchased it.

What do I do in that case?
