Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Warzone doesn't recognize TPM 2.0 on HP Victus 15 with AMD Ryzen 5 5600H.  I have updated my TPM 2.0 to the most recent version of 3.93.0.5.  After doing some research it shows that the "0" version of BIOS is not recognized by COD Warzone/Activision Anti-Cheat.  Speaking with Activision, I was told to contact HP since my motherboard is built by you to obtain a specific BIOS update that will work with their Anti-Cheat and allow it to recognize my TPM 2.0.  I already checked everything to confirm I am in the proper boot mode, have the most updated version of BIOS I could find but still not working with Warzone.  I am told that the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor is a concern with this issue and that HP should be able to provide me specific download software to update my BIOS to a good version that fixes this bug.  Please help! Thank you in advance!

Same situation with another game. I have an HP Omen 15-en1011ns with a Ryzen 7 5800h. When I try to play Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the game warns me that my PC doesn't meet the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) requirement. After performing all the checks, I have it enabled on my computer and everything is fine outside of the game. I contacted Activision, and they informed me that my laptop manufacturer (HP) needs to update this module and that you guys are the ones who need to fix this problem. Please don't abandon us. Update. Thanks!!!!!

@Raypataques, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding TPM 2.0 Issues for Gaming on HP Laptops!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are encountering issues with games like Call of Duty Black Ops 6 that don't recognize TPM 2.0 on your HP Victus or Omen laptop with AMD processors, here's a guide on how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem:

Verify TPM 2.0 is Enabled:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup by pressing the F10 key at startup.
  • Navigate to the Security tab.
  • Ensure the TPM option is set to 'Available' and the TPM State is 'Enabled'.
  • Save the settings and exit the BIOS.

Update System Firmware and Drivers:

  • Check for any BIOS/UEFI updates for your HP laptop on the HP Support website. Keeping the BIOS updated can solve compatibility issues.
  • Use HP Support Assistant to check and install the latest drivers, specifically any updates related to the security features and chipset.

Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows operating system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for updates.

Check Game Compatibility:

  • Some games may require specific system states for compatibility. Ensure your version of the game is up to date with the latest patches from the game publisher, which can sometimes address detection issues.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

These steps have already been performed, but they do not resolve the issue. I contacted Activision and received the following response:

If your manufacturer's version is AMD 3.92.0.5 you Requires firmware update

Please contact your motherboard manufacturer's customer support to find out if a firmware update is available.

More details about this known issue can be found here:

If this isn't resolved, owners of computers with this hardware will be unable to continue playing.

We need your help.

Thank you very much.

I updated the BIOS to the latest version, F29, but the AMD TPM 2.0 version remains at 3.93.0.5, which the Call of Duty anti-cheat system doesn't recognize because it ends in .0.x. Activision is correct in stating that this can affect certification.

Currently, fTPM firmware updates are only delivered through BIOS updates provided by HP in coordination with AMD.

Until they release an update, we won't be able to play the game.

We need your help, thank you.

@Raypataques , I hear your frustration — it’s like you’ve done all the right steps, but the system still keeps shutting the door on you when you just want to play. Let’s walk through this together.

Here’s what you can try in the meantime:

Double-check TPM status in Windows:

Press Win + R, type tpm.msc → confirm it shows TPM 2.0, ready for use.

Clear and re-initialize TPM:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Security processor details > Security processor troubleshooting.

Select Clear TPM (this will reset TPM, so make sure you back up BitLocker keys if enabled).

Update BIOS & chipset from HP Support site:

Even if you’re already on F29, reinstalling the latest BIOS sometimes re-applies the fTPM firmware.

Update AMD chipset drivers directly from AMD’s support page.

Windows updates:

Run a full Windows Update check — security patches sometimes include TPM fixes.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

I probably didn't explain myself clearly, which is why you haven't understood me. The problem isn't activating TPM 2.0, updating the firmware, installing Windows 11, or configuring the BIOS. All of that has already been done, and I repeat, that's not the solution. The problem, as explained in the previous links, is that Activision states that the AMD TPM 2.0 driver is outdated and needs to be updated. Only HP, in conjunction with AMD, can do this. There is no other solution. Look at the image; it shows the driver version for my HP OMEN 15. It is enabled, but the version is 3.93.0.5. To continue playing games like Call of Duty, Activision requires that this driver be updated because it is outdated. We don't need help learning how to configure or activate TPM. What we need is help updating this driver. Thank you very much.TPM_HP_Omen_15.jpg
