OMEN by HP 17-cb0005nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Mr, Mrs,

I have weird grey particles inside my one year old OMEN's LCD screen. They are  unstructured grey particles which cover at least 20 pixels in total. I figured it out just after i cleaned the whole screen... They are like  some piece of dust. Because when i dont clean my lcd screen i can see many of them on the screen. However, after a good cleaning, they just disappear.. These just don't go and irritating..I would like to learn. whether the warranty covers this issue? whether they have to replace the whole screen for this?if not whether an authorized technical service assistant could clean it in a day? Would it take so long?

Sorry, I am a bit frustrated... . Thats the first time i ve had dust inside a screen 😞 its so obsessing. Attaching a photo of one of them

hello @Vgoktas

Laptop screens are sealed units and cannot simply be opened up and cleaned.

If you are still under warranty, I would contact HP directly for a warranty issue and see what they say. I would think they would replace the screen. Contact HP Worldwide | HP® Official Site

Otherwise if you are out of warranty, you would have to look into other options to replace it yourself.

Thank God its still under warranty for another year . And its not my fault. but i am pretty sure i am going to wait for a long time to make it replaced due to Covid issues

Good to hear on the warranty. I wouldn't wait though, I would put it through ASAP.  Some situations a user might have to wait. Other claims Ive seen go through pretty fast. But lets not jinx it!!! 😂

Thank you and good luck.
