I have a HP Omen 16.1in Ryzen 7 16GB 1TB RTX4060 Gaming Laptop with 16.0 GB RAM (5600 MT/s) installed, a CPU that is AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS and 1 TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD for storage.
Is this laptop up-gradable (can I remove both RAM sticks and add new ones) to 64GB RAM and if so what RAM do you recommend I purchase? Also, is there an extra SSD slot in this laptop where I can add more storage and is this slot PCIE Gen4 or Gen3 M.2 and if so what SSD would you recommend here too?
Thanks in advance

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 NVMe PCIe gen 4 x 4 SSD, so if you want more storage, you will have to replace the existing drive with one having a greater storage capacity -- up to 4 TB.
Your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 16 GB of DDR5-5600 MHz memory according to chapter 1 of the service manual:
The service manual shows support for two M.2 SSD's but that is only for the 16-xf0000 model series.
If you want to see if your notebook will support more than 32 GB of memory, you can run this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
Suggested 16 GB memory chips:
Suggested 32 GB memory chips (if the report returns a 64 GB value).
For a SSD, I recommend the Samsung 990 Pro in a storage capacity you would need:
This is the 2 TB drive for example:
