This is a new computer and this audio problem has always been here. My wife has a new Omen 45L as well, and her operating system had to be reinstalled (Windows 11) when it suddenly failed to boot up after she had had it 4 days. I have run every diagnostic available to me, and my computer has passed all tests. Something must be missing when my system first boots up, because my audio works every time if I reboot my system. This is a real nuisance!

I feel it is the audio drivers that are the issue, Most forums advise not to upgrade to Windows 11 just yet due to compatibility issues and the rest.

 

Download a software called Driver Booster and see if you can reinstall the right drivers on it.

Unfortunately my computer came with Windows 11 loaded. Why would rebooting my system fix my audio problem if the driver is bad?

I don't think the driver is bad, it just needs to be updated. The rebooting only fires it up at that moment since it's like a hard reset.

 

Try to update the drivers when you can. That should work out.
