I lost my charger, and I need a new one that is equivalent to the original charger.

Enter your notebook's product number in the search window at the link below and it should provide the parts list for your notebook which will include the power adapter part number and description.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Once you have the power adapter part number, you can go on eBay do a search by the HP power adapter part number and you should be able to find a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter.
