Why is the built in web cam so bad?

I purchased the Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb1003nx last week and the webcam is so freaking bad! how in 2024 can a cam be so bad? The image is grainy and washed out in all lighting conditions. Its actually shameful. What can we do to improve this terrible built in cam?
