Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, everyone!

I've got laptop HP OMEN with NVIDIA 1050ti card and I'm interested in purchasing Hp 24f monitor which has AMD Freesync technology.

WIll AMD Freesync work with my card via HDMI?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, It will only be an open standard in HDMI 2.1, which current Nvidia cards don't support. Freesync doesn't work over DVI even on AMD. So current gen Nvidia GPUs will probably not get freesync over HDMI. (by Reddit )

Nvidia announced that it would finally stop preventing its video cards from using capabilities already built into FreeSync monitors.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
