Hi @EagleFish72

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Congratulations on your new system.

From what I have understood, you are facing performance issues while playing games on it. Do not worry, we are here to help you with it.

May I know if you made any recent hardware or software changes to your system?

Is it only happening while playing games?

What all games are you playing on your system?

Since it is a new system, I would suggest you update all the drivers and let me know the outcome of it. CLICK HERE

If that doesn't help, update the Windows as well. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Sorry I havent reponded. Been frantic trying to get this brand new "gaming laptop" to game. The name is so misleading. Ive never been more let down by a product or company. Im not happy with this sytem. I went to the HP store and found a replacement that would work for my needs. Was $50 more than this system but imfigured HP could just eat that small loss considering the $8,000 I owe because HP couldnt/wouldnt help me in a timely fashion. I was denied the solution because it was an Omen and not a Pavilion Gaming laptop. **bleep**??? its all HP. What happened to a company standing beside its product? What happened to goiung above and beyond for customers. Really having a hard time with this. Im on the verge of loosing my college funding over a brand new laptop that is junk and a $50 upgrade. Im disgusted
