Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Pavillion gaming laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 series is equipped to handle external monitors, but the ability to use multiple monitors simultaneously often depends on the laptop's graphics capabilities and available ports, rather than just the amount of RAM.

If you are already using one external monitor, check the following to determine if you can add another:

  1. Ports Availability: Ensure that your laptop has enough video output ports (such as HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, etc.) to connect another monitor. You might need an adapter or a docking station if the laptop's built-in ports do not support multiple monitors.

  2. Graphics Capability: Verify your graphics card's capability to support multiple monitors. While gaming laptops are generally designed with more robust graphics cards, two external monitors could be demanding depending on your setup and usage.

  3. Laptop Model Specifics: Review the specifications and user manual of your specific laptop model (2P6B3AV) to understand the configurations supported for multiple display setups.

  4. Operating System and Software Settings: Make sure your operating system settings and graphics software (such as Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Software) are configured to support multiple displays.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
