hi. I have a problem with programming the macro keys on my keyboard. I have installed omen command centre. but it doesn't show the macro tab. it seems it does not recognise this feature of my laptop. I have also updated the HP Wireless Button Driver based on the recommended solutions. could you help me to solve this please?

Hi @moshrka,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue with the Omen Command Center not recognizing the macro feature on your HP Omen Notebook. Let's troubleshoot this.

  • Check Compatibility: Ensure that your HP Omen Notebook model supports macro keys and that the Omen Command Center version you have installed is compatible with your laptop model.
  • Update Omen Command Center: Make sure you have the latest version of the Omen Command Center installed. Sometimes, updating the software can resolve compatibility issues and unlock new features.
  • Reinstall Omen Command Center: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Omen Command Center to see if it resolves the issue. This can help in case there was a problem with the installation or if some files got corrupted.
  • Check for Driver Updates: Ensure that all drivers, including the keyboard driver, are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with certain features.

Remember to back up any important data before making significant changes to your system, and be cautious when uninstalling or reinstalling software.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
