i dont know anything about motherboard because specs are not available, but i5-12450h is capable of ddr5 ram can any one try to upgrade victus 15-fa0031dx to ddr5 ?

Hi:

 

According to the specs that model comes with DDR4-3200 MHz memory.

 

HP Victus Gaming 15-fa0031dx (intel.com)

 

You cannot install DDR5 memory in a notebook that runs DDR4 memory any more than you could install a DDR4 memory chip in a notebook that uses DDR3 memory.

 

That is because DDR5 memory runs at a different voltage than DDR4 memory, has a different number of contact pins, and the slot in the memory is cut in a different place, making it physically impossible to install a DDR5 memory chip in a DDR4 memory slot.
