hello fellow hp users
i know its not a common matter . so i got my omen 17 a couple of month ago and there was problem with the hard disk so i did a low-level format on it and i had to install a free version of windows if you know what i mean (in iran nor you can buy a windows cause of the sanctions and blah blah nor any copy right laws) so please dont judge me ... now im wondering if i can get my original ligal windows back in anyways cause im sure i paid for it when i got the laptop

Hi,
On the base of your device you should find a serial key. You can then type into the Windows search bar "Activate windows"
