Product: OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck1000 IDS Base Model
I tried out Ubuntu, installed to a separate, external disk.
unplugged it, wanted to go back to windows. But the "grub" boot loader is still the default.
I tried the directions somewhere, about going to Windows setup "Recovery" options. Supposedly, picking the one about troubleshooting windows boot problems is supposed to clean up the windows boot loader on disk.
Didnt do anything.
It seems like somehow, the linux ubuntu installer saved the grub boot loader INTO BIOS?
When I press F9 to select boot options, it shows a UEFI windows boot loader option, and also a
UEFI ubuntu boot loader option.
There is no option to delete.
How do I get rid of the ubuntu boot loader?!
😞
