my 10th gen i5 laptop has 8GB DDR4 RAM, 2933MHz. If I want to install an additional 8GB RAM, which can I install, 2666MHz or 3200MHz? Do I have to install RAM of HP brand or can I install RAM of other brands?

HP uses RAM's & HDD/SSD's from few other suppliers. You can use compatible RAM from Crucial, Samsung ...Normally HP tells us to use HP RAM's.
Back to your question, to get full benefit of dual architecture you have to use SAME existing 8GB RAM. You can use the following apps (under SPD tab) to see what is existing RAM
