HP omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi, so I was playing AC Syndicate on medium settings and I noticed that the CPU temp for my laptop is stable at 85 degrees celsius. This is my first gaming laptop so I don't really know what to expect aside from the posts that I read on the net. Is it normal for a gaming laptop to be that hot? should I be worried that it might cause some problems in the future?
specs for laptop :
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
16GB ram
RTX 2060

thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that 90C is normal on the gaming computer. I recommend you use the Omen command center to change the settings which suit your needs.

Hello there,
I already solved the problem myself, turns out there's this thing called performance boost mode that was always on "Aggressive" mode, I changed it to "Efficient aggressive" and the temps went down as far as 20 °C. By the way, it's safe to do that right? Please tell me if it's recommended to change the settings back to factory default.
Thank you.
