Hi @saddam78699,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To turn on the RGB lighting in your HP Victus 15, you can follow these steps:
1. Using the Keyboard Shortcuts
- Function Keys: Many HP laptops, including the Victus series, use function keys to control RGB lighting. Look for a key with a lighting symbol (usually F5 or F4). You may need to hold the Fn key while pressing the corresponding function key.
2. Using HP Omen Gaming Hub
- Install the HP Omen Gaming Hub: If it’s not already installed, download it from the Microsoft Store.
- Open the Omen Gaming Hub: Launch the application.
- Select "Lighting": Navigate to the lighting settings. Here, you should see options to customize the RGB lighting for the keyboard and any other RGB components.
- Turn On/Adjust RGB: Use the options to turn on the RGB lighting and customize the colors and effects as desired.
3. Check for Software Updates
- Ensure that both your operating system and the HP Omen Gaming Hub are up to date, as updates can fix bugs or add features.
4. Windows Settings
- In some cases, RGB lighting can also be controlled through Windows settings:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and check if there are any device-specific settings for RGB.
5. Restart the Laptop
- If the RGB lighting isn’t working despite trying the above steps, restart your laptop to see if that resolves the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
