hi hp community, i used to play on my laptop but idk i feel like the load while gaming went into CPU more than GPU and the temp of CPU goes crazy high how can fix that and what is the bottleneck temp that i should wary about notice the temp and usage of CPU.
i tried to minimise the FPS from 144 into 90 and still the same issue even though i disabled each settings option that cause a load on CPU and still nothing changed

@benjaminvictus, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Victus high temperature!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are experiencing high CPU temperatures, here are some general suggestions you may consider:
Update Drivers: Ensure that your laptop's graphics and chipset drivers are up-to-date. This can sometimes improve performance and optimize temperature management.
Check Power Settings: Adjust your laptop’s power settings to prioritize performance rather than energy saving, or vice versa, depending on your preference.
Cool Down: Make sure your laptop is in a well-ventilated area and that the fans are not blocked. Consider using a cooling pad to help reduce temperatures.
Clean Your Device: Dust accumulation can block airflow. Ensure that the laptop’s vents are clean.
Monitor Background Processes: Ensure that unnecessary applications running in the background are closed to reduce CPU load.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
