i purchased a omen 16 r7840hs rtx 4060 8gb version from amazon last year(2024)  in oct. and when im trying to claim my warranty as im facing a battery issue it is showing that my warranty is expired and when checked my warranty date it is showing that my warranty was active from july of 2024. when i purchased my product in oct 2024. please tell me a solution so that i can claim my warranty as im facing serious battery issues. i checked my battery life in hp support and its showing very weak and asking me to replace the current battery with a new as my present battery is no longer useful.

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

 

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.
