For some reason whenever i open a game, my cpu speed drops from 4.5 GHz+ to 1.78 locked and it effects my fps and causes fps drops which gets me from 120 FPS+ to 8 fps from time to time that lasts for 5 seconds straight and it is really annoying me, any suggestions to fix/solve it?

Note: All my drivers are up to date

My Laptop Specs:

Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)

i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz

Nividia MX130

Most likely that is due to heat, CPU could drop and recover. Pleas keep machine cooler first
