Hi,
I’m using an HP Victus 15 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H. The TPM 2.0 firmware version is 3.93.0.5, but Call of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat system doesn’t recognize it.
After speaking with Activision support, I was told the issue is due to the TPM firmware ending in “.0.x”, which fails attestation. They mentioned HP should have a BIOS update that includes an fTPM version like 3.x.2.x that works properly.
I’ve already updated to the latest BIOS available on the HP website, but the TPM version didn’t change.
Can someone from HP provide or confirm if there’s a BIOS update that includes the correct TPM version?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @tofu159,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Hi, thanks for sharing the details. I understand you’re using an HP Victus 15 with Ryzen 5 5600H and the TPM 2.0 firmware version is 3.93.0.5, which Call of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat isn’t recognizing because it ends in .0.x. Activision is correct that this can affect attestation.
Currently, the fTPM firmware updates are delivered only through BIOS updates provided by HP in coordination with AMD. Since you already installed the latest BIOS and the TPM version didn’t change, it means the required update hasn’t yet been released for your model.
Here’s what you can try in the meantime:
Check HP Support Assistant – Make sure HP Support Assistant is installed and run all available updates. Sometimes BIOS/firmware patches are pushed there first.
Reinstall Latest BIOS – Re-flash the latest BIOS from the HP Software & Drivers page for your exact Victus 15 model.
Windows Update – Confirm Windows Update is fully up-to-date, as certain TPM firmware patches are delivered through Windows as well.
I hope this helps.
