Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U8AV)
junusemre_0-1692545833052.pngHi. Yesterday my laptop battery suddenly went to 100% very quickly and then started to drain faster than usual. This happened for the first time yesterday. I was able to use my device without any problems before. Can you help me with this?

@junusemre,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

For all intents and purposes, it looks to me that you'll have to replace your battery.

Your Victus By HP 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop 15-Fb0000 (598U8AV), according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_6400408-6400457-16, and: https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_6019410_en-US-1.pdf, either requires a battery with p/n: L84394-005 ("3 cell, 52 Whr for use in models with GeForce GTX 1650 and GeForce RX 6500M graphics"), or with p/n: M39179-005 ("4 cell, 70 Whr for use in models with GeForce RTX 3050 or 3050 Ti graphics").

Please check which one you got installed in your laptop.

Obviously, the 4-cell battery is more powerful and should provide you with a longer lasting charge:

You'll have to search online for either of these batteries in your country in order to find a place you can buy it from, but since you got the part numbers, you should be able to locate these batteries for sale.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
