Hi Rasinoco,
and what is your solution?

Greetings

Hi Kopp63,

As I stated in my post the problem that was Highlight in the Device Manager was the Intel(R) PCIe Controller (x16) - 1901 driver saying there was an issue. I ended up uninstalling that driver and then following on from that I clicked on view -> Show Hidden Devices and hey presto GeForge RTX 2070 sitting there under Display Adaptors.

The reason I uninstalled the problem driver is I just assumed Windows would re-install the driver again. I do not have the technical knowledge enough to be able to say that it will work for yourself however.

Side note after uninstalling that problem driver windows said that there was an update to do. I have not done that update yet.

Give back the computer To the store. Nobody will help you. I have waited for 3 months, no reply only just recommendation to backup everything to factory settings. Only a waste of Time. They are selling untested computers or i dont know, I bought an MSI computer with the same components. Everything worked Perfectly. No errors, only pieceful time spend with new puchowe.

Everyone remember, never buy nothing from Hp. This is a s*** brand. They give a fu*k about thier clients. The just count the money on sold products. No support, no nothing. NEVER HP again!!

i did disable the intel chip set; then the NVIDIA driver install app popped up and came to the rescue ... definitely an *interesting* experience. btw - this all came to my attention because i installed a new game that made the infamous "DirectX 10.0 version not installed" ....
