hi I'm currently thinking on buying a new ssd for my hp omen 15-dc0003la laptop.

 

i dont know if there is a limit of how big the storage of the new ssd should be, im considering buying a 2tb storage m2 ssd but im not sure if that would be compatible. Ive seen that other people use 1tb or 500gb but i havent seen anything for bigger storages

Hi:

 

The sky's the limit as long as the drive is single sided.

 

The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB.

Your notebook's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

 

A gen 4 SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.
