OMEN 15 en0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an omen 15 2020 laptop yesterday and its omen command center application requires an update. If updated shows error. and the omen key isn't working(which could be because of the omen command center issue).

A solution will be greatly appreciated.

Hello @tonyyahasiel

Usually fully  updating corrects this issue.

Go to the command centers start button in the Start Menu, right click and choose Uninstall.

When that is done, go to the Windows Store and reinstall it from there.

Get OMEN Command Center - Microsoft Store

Then update by installing these files also...

  1. Get HP System Event Utility - Microsoft Store
  2. OMEN Command Center SDK Package sp105569.exe
  3. Next, go to Windows Updates and force it to search for updates. Click on the Check for Updates button even if it shows its up to date.
  4. Run the HP Support Assistant and have it search for any HP drivers and install them.
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant. Open the program and click on your computer in the list. Search for the updates from there.

Then try the command center and see what happens.
