@ADAmink7, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing low speaker volume on your HP gaming laptop, and you'd expect better audio performance from a gaming-class device. Based on the specs you shared:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics
  • RAM: 4 GB (3.37 GB usable)
  • Audio Device: Realtek(R) Audio
  • OS: Windows 11, 64-bit

Here are some steps to help improve your speaker volume and overall audio quality:

Step 1: Update Audio Drivers

Outdated or generic drivers can limit audio performance.

  1. Go to Device ManagerSound, video and game controllers.
  2. Right-click Realtek(R) AudioUpdate driverSearch automatically.
  3. Alternatively, download the latest Realtek audio driver from HP:

Tip: If your exact model isn't listed, use the HP Support Assistant to auto-detect and install updates. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Step 2: Enable Loudness Equalization

This can boost perceived volume.

  1. Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar → Sounds.
  2. Go to the Playback tab → Select Speakers (Realtek)Properties.
  3. Under the Enhancements tab, check Loudness Equalization.
  4. Click Apply and OK.

Step 3: Check HP Audio Control or DTS/X Settings

Some HP gaming laptops come with DTS:X Ultra or Bang & Olufsen Audio Control.

  • Open the app from the Start menu.
  • Look for equalizer settings, sound profiles, or volume boost options.
  • Set to Gaming or Music mode for louder output.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
