@5CD3308JRX, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Fixing Bluetooth Issues on HP Victus!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Experiencing Bluetooth issues, such as the Bluetooth icon graying out and disappearing, can be frustrating. This might happen due to driver conflicts or outdated software after a Windows update. Here is a step-by-step guide to resolving these issues:

Step 1: Update Bluetooth Driver Using Windows Update

  1. Ensure Internet Connection: Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
  2. Open Windows Update:
    • Click on the Start Menu.
    • Select Settings.
    • Click on Update & Security.
    • Select Windows Update and press Check for Updates.
    • If there are any updates available, download and install them.
  3. Restart Your Computer: After updating, restart your computer to ensure proper installation.

Step 2: Update Bluetooth Driver Using HP Support Assistant

  1. Launch HP Support Assistant:
    • You can find HP Support Assistant in All Apps under HP Help and Support.
    • Alternatively, click the HP Support Assistant icon (blue question mark) in the task bar.
  2. Check for Updates:
    • Once HP Support Assistant opens, select My Device.
    • Click on Updates to check if there are any updates for the Bluetooth driver.
    • Install the required updates.

Step 3: Use Device Manager to Update Bluetooth Driver Manually

  1. Open Device Manager:
    • Right-click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager.
  2. Find Bluetooth Driver:
    • Expand the Bluetooth section.
    • Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless Bluetooth) and select Update Driver.
  3. Update the Driver:
    • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
    • Allow the system to search online for the latest driver and install it.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
