hello , hp community
 i need to know how i turn on the conservation mode that limit the battery to not charge when the battery be on 80% like Lenovo voltage because I converted from Lenovo to hp 

pls help as soon as possible

Hi:

 

Only some select HP business class notebooks have the battery charge limit option in the BIOS.

 

Your notebook does not support that feature.

IMHO, the most important thing to not do is to leave your notebook plugged in to AC power 24/7/365 or that may lead to battery swelling.

 

Once in a while (like once or twice a month), unplug your notebook from A/C power and run it off the battery until the battery charge indicator reaches 15%, then you can plug it in and recharge the battery.

and what if i used the 3rd part app that limit the battery charge to 80% and stop
