I have successfully connected 2 external monitors using hdmi and usbc2dp adapter. At the moment all 3 screens are on, laptop display and 2 external monitors. I am simple looking for a way so laptop display turns off automatically when connecting external monitor.

Hi @frankf95d
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
You can configure your OMEN laptop to turn off its built-in display when external monitors are connected. Here’s how:
Change Display Settings
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Scroll down to Multiple displays and select Show only on 2 (or the external monitor number).
- Click Apply, and your laptop screen should turn off while keeping the external monitors active.
Use Windows Key + P Shortcut
- Press Win + P to open the Project menu.
- Select Second screen only to disable the laptop display and use only the external monitors.
Close the Laptop Lid Settings
- Open Control Panel → Power Options.
- Click Choose what closing the lid does.
- Under Plugged in, set When I close the lid to Do nothing (so the laptop stays on but the display turns off).
- Close the lid, and the laptop screen should turn off while keeping the external monitors active.
These methods should help you achieve the setup you want. Let me know if you need further assistance!
