Hello Dears 

Recently I was so happy for purchasing my new gaming laptop HP Omen with high specification, unfortunately I become so disappointed because of so many issues appears during my game play, like low FPS, lagging, frizzing and sometimes crashing, OPS, what is that it’s just new laptop and the features is very high why happened like that ???!!!, so please if you have any idea or any solution how to improve this laptop to get high performance I will apricate that, thank you for attention, with my best regards. 

 

 

Note: the model is 

OMEN HP - 15-ce097nx

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz

Memory: 16GB 

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design 6GB

Since as you say its brand new, have you let Windows fully update prior to gaming?

Also, check the AC adapter and see if it shows as 200watts. If not, what is it?

 

I would start out by making sure there is nothing hardware related causing the issues.

Power off the PC.

Make sure the power cord is plugged in.

Power on the PC and rapidly tap the F2 key for the UEFI Diagnostics Tools.

Run the Extensive Test to see if any errors occur.

hello again and thank you for fast reply apricating your support 

sure, before start anything I just let the laptop to update the windows and all recommended updates for drivers before starting any activity on the laptop and this issue happened after all recommended updates totally done for windows and drivers.

I took to HP support on phone about that issue, the agent remotely connect to my laptop and he did some regulations and update the BIOS, after this done all become OK and acceptable, until now everything seems fine and as expect.
