who do i turn off my vega 8 graphic. it takes my 2 gb ram from 8 gb

You cant and its not just a reserve of graphics mem for the AMD APU.  AMD reserves some memory capacity in order to support the Microsoft PlayReady feature.

Yes it grabs about 2 GB of your Ram. There is nothing HP says they can do about it.

Intel systems don't have this issue, its just AMD Ryzen systems.
