what are the risks when updating the bios

I want to unlock the undervolting capability in the gaming hub but I have to update the bios first. What are the risks so I know before I mess anything up?

I always say: Playing around with BIOS is the shortest way to brick your machine. But in many cases we have to do this work. Please use the following guide
