HP DeskJet 2630 All-in-One Printer

I have a 2630 printer that has been sat on a shelf for a couple of years. I now want to give this to a family membre and have attempted to set this up for instant ink. The colour ink light blinks continously and I am unable to print any test page or more importantly the page to show the printer code. I have also have a working 2620 printer and have temporarily switched the cartridges from this printer, but this makes no difference and the colour ink light continues to blink. I have ensured the firmware is uptodate and have tried the recommended steps of removing the cartridges, unplugging from the power for a minute or two to reset and powering back on - but to no avail. It just doesn't appear to be able to detect the colour cartridge - do I have to assume the printer is now faulty?

Are you enrolling this printer to instant for the first time or was it enrolled before?

Meanwhile, follow the steps from this document and see how it goes.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

The printer was previously enrolled, but has not been used for a year or two, so when I came to try and set this printer up again it said that the enrollment had expired. I am actually trying to enroll this against another family members account.

I have previously followed the document link you refer to, but to no avail. I have tried again just now to be sure.

I have also tried to print the various status and information pages available, but nothing happens when I try this. Also if I try to print any of the pages from the web GUI it states "The printer is busy. Try again later"
